Project Description
This project provides for new facilities and upgrades to existing facilities needed at Blue Plains to meet the total nitrogen discharge limit that has been included in DC Water’s NPDES permit. This project includes a new or expanded facility to remove additional nitrogen from the wastewater prior to discharge to the Potomac River as well as any improvements to upstream processes that may be required to ensure the reliability of the new or expanded system. As a JV partner on the Program Management team, Davis Brothers services include design team selection, cost estimates, constructability review and management.
